We’ve talked about the lesser known activities that Orange County has to offer before, including things like the thrift shops of Old Town Orange and The redwood grove in brea, but there's so much more to explore in our unique little paradise! Here’s 3 MORE lesser known activities in the OC that you should check out soon!

First, there’s no shortage of restaurants and bars in OC, but as long as I’m recommending “Hidden Gems”, then I must mention all bars that are literally hidden! Speakeasies are definitely more popular in LA, but Orange County has a bunch of notable ones to check out too! The Blind Rabbit in the Anaheim Packing House is one of the most popular and most exclusive. With its extremely limited size, you’ll need to make a reservation to have any chance of getting in. The same is true for the speakeasy under CdM restaurant in Corona del Mar with it’s swanky vibe & signature VIP service. For a better chance of getting in, check out Pie Society in Costa Mesa, The Lost Inferno in San Clemente, or for full service dinner, you can't miss the Cellar in Downtown Fullerton which was designed by one of the same architects of the Pirates of the Caribbean in disneyland! Did you know Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton got engaged in their Grotto? With it’s cavernous walls, romantic candle lights and red velvet booths, the Cellar is an experience you won’t soon forget.

Second, if you want to support local businesses, make sure to head to one of the many farmers markets in the county. Nearly every city in Orange County hosts one on a weekly or monthly basis. Head to enjoyorangecounty.com to see a curated list of all of them and take your pick! So go see what local art, jewelry, and produce is being sold in your city.

Third, for a taste of broadway, go see a show at our very own Segerstrom Center for the arts in Costa Mesa. This spring, a few upcoming highlights include To Kill a Mockingbird, Disney’s Frozen, The Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Mean Girls to name a few. You can experience the magic of live theater, dance and orchestra without having to deal with the traffic of Downtown LA because we have a beautiful and esteemed performing arts center right here in the center of our county!

So there you have it! Three more fun activities that you can check out now! Go explore all that our county has to offer and let me know what you find!
